Mr. Jeff (Woodworker) installed an window sill extension to all of my small window sills at my beautiful ranch style home. So now it serves as the perfect sill extender and much more. So now, I can perch next to a chair to replace the purpose a coffee table serves, provides extra room for my planters, a space to store my current read and/or remote.
